If I’m anything like most men I have amassed too many pair of black dress shoes over the years! I mean how big a sucker must I be? Well to answer that, it’s amazing how different and distinguishable black dress shoes can be from one another! (Huh Ladies!?)
Honestly I’m nauseated at that the thought of even purchasing another pair of black dress shoes…until….
OMG!!! These mens Lanvin dress oxfords in black w/metal cap toe!!! SICKENING!!! These would even get the “Pet-Name”…__________________! However I’m sure that when they’re released with their commensurate asking price I won’t end up being nauseated by these at at all!!! If I had the wardrobe budgets of some these athletes and entertainers you best believe it’d show! So one/some/or more of you jump on these for me and do them justice!!! Kobe…Mr. Gunn perhaps…anyone???
While for some school started in late August, September really feels like the official “back-to-school” month. So, with that here’s my back-to-school shopping list:a new back pack, a tablet, a few pins, a new bike, and a new outfit! These ought to work nicely…
It’s no secret that accessories can make an outfit. Just as we have ‘go-to’ elements of our clothing wardrobe, we should have similar elements in our accessories wardrobe as well. Imagine the impact that any of the necklaces below could have on a basic black shift dress or even jeans paired with a simple white shirt. If I had these, I think I might be able to do with a much smaller wardrobe…well maybe.
All That Glitters…
All that glitters may not be gold, but that’s alright with me. While items with a bit of sparkle may be thought for special occasions, I think they work quite nicely worn casually as well. And besides, isn’t each and every day a special occasion?

Admittedly, it’s not terribly difficult for me to find fault with things seen and heard. When something strikes a nerve or a “foul” note, I know it in an instant and the challenge is either not to react or to find a manner in which to do so that won’t exacerbate the problem. But there are times, wonderful times, when it’s not fault that I find, rather instead, it’s the beauty of a thing. Such is the case with these (and many other) pieces from Lanvin. When I saw these, I smiled and heard strains of Minnie Ripperton…“Lovin’ you is easy ‘cause you’re beautiful… Doot-n-dodododo, Ahahahahah!!!!”
