Better Late than Never is what I always hear quoted!?…Well here’s my “late” post of the office of Me…Jayar! This is where I work my fingers to the bone!
Well…all of this started because I needed to re-model this former teenagers bedroom from the purple walled, Punky Brewster themed wonderland!
When I begin decorating a new space I always begin with carpet! (an uder-statement in this case right!? lol) For maybe obvious reasons to some this carpet was on clearance and they were excited to yet knock off more of a percentage yet!? I did the German Shepherd head-tilt and gaze (hmmmm) at this roll of carpet and all of a sudden had a BIG idea!!!
So I got this carpet for little to nothing…much less than $100 and went to town so to speak….laid it…and next came time for paint…hmmmm two-tone w/chair rail all the way around should sharpen the look some I thought…and IMO it did!
Next desk, chair, and accent furniture…lighting…gadgets & electronics…then knick-knacks…and Voila’!
And yes I did this all by myself…which explains the “Man-Cave” appeal of it all! The only thing in this room that wasn’t acquired at a great sale price was the chair…other than that…I designed this room on a couple of dimes!
It organically came together…I just let the designing take on a life of it’s own with no defined result in mind…I love the feel I get when I’m in my office…it has an innate ability to influence my mood! It really “peace’s me out”!!!
